This Arduino compatible board is a nice addition to my collection and it comes with a few unique features. Being based on the ESP8266 platform, naturally there's WiFi on board. No need for a WiFi shield. My board features the ESP-12S. There's 4MB of flash, which makes OTA updating work like a charm. The only thing missing as compared to a genuino Arduino, is more than one analog input. If your project needs that, look for another board, but if you only do digital input/output, this could be the board for you.
